Is there any difference between a bridge and a partial denture?
Bridges and partial dentures both replace missing teeth, in this way they are similar. But a partial denture is attached by clasps to the teeth and is easily removed by the patient, and a bridge is permanently attached to the patient’s teeth by cementing or bonding. -
What do you mean by Cosmetic Dentistry?
Dr Morgan & Rogers assist patients in all types of dentistry needed. Cosmetic Dentistry is one area that the focus is mainly to modify the appearance of a patient’s smile. This can be done in many ways. Teeth can be whitened to change the brightness of a smile. We use Treswhite Supreme, disposable prefilled take home trays. To see more info on this brand of whitening go to http://www.opalescence.com/treswhite.php
Porcelain veneers and porcelains crowns can whiten, and in some cases give the appearance that the patient’s teeth have been straightened. Another way to cosmetically make a change is to re-contour the gum tissue to show a natural and healthy, incredible look. Cosmetic dentistry is a wonderful way to make you feel better about your smile. Most often this type of dentistry can be completed in one or two appointments!

Why would I need a Mouth or Bite Guard?
A major cause of discomfort, tooth loss and tension in the face and jaw is teeth grinding. Many people grind their teeth at night and aren’t even aware they do so. A custom-made, specially fitting mouth guard can be made to alleviate these symptoms and prevent future loss of tooth structure. We would take an impression of your teeth and our lab would make your custom bite guard. Many times these guards will relieve a patient from headaches caused from stress, and or TMJ issues.
